Why, hello there! :] havent been in these parts of the web in some time! and since im gonna talk about my life!, im using the same blog title name!
sooo first things first. life is good. lets start off with of course! volleyball! so yesterday we had a Varsity Vs. Faculty game. and let me tell you, i did amazing. x) i really think i did. so the past week or two, ive been kind of on the verge of not playing all around cuz my hittings been stinky. plus we got all these hitters on the team and theyve all been doing well. so yesterday, i stepped it up and showed reinhart what i could do. i realized during JV warmups that i was jumping wayy too late, and getting the ball on the way below the net and thats just gonna end in a block. so i figured it out and mastered it during the game. during game one, did really well getting the balls in. and reinhart saw that, so he decided to keep me in for game 2, which was shocking. SO IN GAME 2! i hit this really high set just straight down and that really started things off for me. i kept hitting cross courts and everything. i tagged navarro, and since hes my third period, he said, "well uh ryan, i think i may have lost some of your papers and artwork" ahahah. but yea, we ended up winning the match. after the game i was talking to phillip saying how no ones gonna take my spot from me and i really showed it. reinhart complimented me after the game. that was the best feeling ever.
Along with the faculty game, we got our official volleyball duffel bags, i got some active ankles, were getting our warm ups and jerseys on monday! we got the shoes and we got the headbands, resulting in what would be a very damn ass good looking volleyball team come our first game this Monday, March 2, 2009 against Reseda High School. I called it, i'm gonna be beastly.
In other newss, school is retarded. although i am a genius!, right? x) i hate everything about education. theres just been so much going on this week that ive been stressed out way too many days. we're making this project, a newscast about europe, for ap us hist. and so i play the role of Hitler in one of our scenes. so we were near the small gym, recording when we remembered to get something from the class. yet no one wanted to go back, leaving myself to go and get it. it was funny cuz i was walking and running back to the class with a hitler mustache, and a swascztika(sp?) on my arm. so i either put my head down, or covered my face with my hand. hhah. that was pretty funny. it was pretty funny too, hitler has a mohawk x)
english class is alright. its very fast paced so i fall behind at times, but im doing well so far. and painting class is funnnnn. it makes me appreciate art more. well, at least, shading. haha. weve been learning abuot shading, and everytime i look at something, i feel like i can draw it, and shade, making it look real. haha. its fun. navarros fuuuuuunnyy, and hes a very very very good art teacher.
on the homefront, my familys been getting ready to move recently, so weve had all these boxes just laying around the house. moving still hasnt sunk in to me yet, and i dont want it to, so ive refused to do any packing of my clothes and other belongings. haha. ill have to do it eventually. but on a lighter note, i am excited to move. i will finally get my own room and have privacy around the house.
my friends have been great thus far. i miss alexandria david though! "/ i havent really talked to her in quite some time. we need to hang out soon. pull myself from this sunland life for a day and hang out with you. get my mind off everything, but yet talk about everything. the fellas have been homo as always. gaby and steph! we need to hang out. rebuilding old friendships. and maintaining existing ones. i am grateful.
other little notes and tidbits. ive gotten so many people into gabe bondoc its so cool. ahaha. i talk about him, and then tell people about it, and they start listening and liking him more too. man, im influential! :] thank you for introducing me to hot cheetoes and cream cheese, cant wait til we eat our ice cream! haha. cautious and careful. after not having been to ihop for 16 years, ive been there twice in the past three weeks, amazing. ive been reminiscent. you are an idiot for doing what you do and say and write. can i add "fucking" to "idiot" cuz you really are. late night phone calls and short hangouts. i miss the mt. gleason days. ive been eating a lot of french bread lately, like the ones from vons. my moms been buying that a lot, and its like the best bread ever so i keep eating it x) and my dad on the other hand has been addicted to those big ass $7.99 sub sandwiches from vons, which i also think is french bread with stuff, so the more bread the merrier? lol. Psych, Friday Night Lights, Lost, ABDC, love themm. movies to watch: he's just not that into you and the watchmen. open houses and back to school nights just aint what they used to be.

Life Update #1
Soooo! i felt like blogging today sooooo bad for some reason. i just havent blogged in quite some time and plus i was bored. i was bored because i have no homework. i have no homework because we took our finals today for most classes. we took our finals today because term B is finally goshdamning, ending! and term B is finally ending because its like, february 6 tomorrow! :]]]
soo school has been pretty dandy recently! weve been taking finals in our classes. i got a 69 on my calc final -_- but thats okay. it replaced my 64 by 5 points ahaha, and i managed to get a LOW ASS B in the class. worst grade of my whole life, even though its still a B. its cuz its a 79%! but anyway. all my other classes, im flying through them, except maybe physics, which by the way, im glad is finally over. im so sick of mr. canny and everything about that class. we took a finals for that class too, and i think i did fine. a lot of easy math questions.
im sad to see that i wont have spanish 2 anymore cuz that class is so damn easy. but at least i have volleyball to look forward to EVERY SINGLE DAY FROM NOW ON!!! :]]] speaking of volleyball, ive been in a slump lately. i havent been hitting well, although my defense is finally getting to where it was when season ended last year. i just need to work on offense. i need to work out, cuz i hit the ball like a pussy, even though i totally tagged karl yesterday during try outs.
my friends have been great as of late. ive been hanging out with geri a lot lately, and its nice to be getting close again like how it was in 9th grade. getting close to the volleyball guys... i think were gonna be a "family" this year. ahahah. and yeaaa. hmmm, about the ladies... nothing much has been going on. just living life as it is. i have been thinking a lot about having a girlfriend though. siigghh. haha. buttttt i am getting some confidence back on how fuckin cute i am. ahahah. valentines day is coming up! or single awareness day for others! who is your valentine? <3
my grandma had this problem the other day, which led to us calling 911 at around 6:20 in the morning "/ the scariest shit that ever happened in my whole life. my mom was crying and we were all scared. paramedics came and they gave her some shots and had to carry her onto a stretcher and roll her out of my house. she was fine though when i came home, thank god. she was telling me how she woke up in the ambulance car and she was thinking to herself, "did i just get kidnapped?" ahahaha lmao. thats funny huh. freaking lola :]
theres a ski trip on saturday from 7:30 am to 4-ish pm. im excited. cuz one, i havent seen snow since i was like 9! two, its raining today and its really cold so it might actually be snowing when we get there :]]]] three, its gunna be with friends and not family, so itll be funnn! and 4! snowball fights :]]]]] PLUS after the ski trip, stephie's having her early birthday party. itll be fun as its gonna be nice to see her again! :]
i have been watching a lot of tv lately. my shows be LOST! America's Best Dance Crew! Psych! Friday Night Lights! and of course all the Laker games! lost is fuckinn crazy as shiittt. gettin all shocked every episode cuz of all the damn "WHOA" moments. ABDC is kinda wack cuz my most favorite crews in the beginning of the season, were pretty much the first two to get eliminated. buut i like beatfreaks and strikers all stars now :]] Psych is fuckinn hilariouuss. i forgot how much i loved that show! and how good and interesting it is as well! and of course, Friday Night Lights with all the freakin drama going on; i love it :]]
Gabe Bondoc is still my idol. now im trying to grow a beard to look even more like him! listen to him please. youtube.com/gabebondoc. listen to this girl who does covers of songs i like. her name is erika rose bautista. shes all awkward when shes talking but i have a youtube crush on her. haha.
i think im done. i wrote a lot. dont get too wet today. nor tomorrow. nor any rainy day. have a nice weekend folks :]
